This initiative, a collaboration between Devoteam and AWS, offered participants a detailed insight into optimizing cloud infrastructures and the impact of technology in the pharmaceutical sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the session, speakers <strong>Romeu Rocha<\/strong> <em>(Director, IT Operations &amp; Cybersecurity &#8211; BIAL)<\/em> and <strong>Rui Cardoso<\/strong> <em>(Solution Architect &#8211; AWS Portugal)<\/em> delved into BIAL&#8217;s success story, highlighting the following stages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review and optimization of the existing AWS Landing Zone;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Phased migration of critical workloads;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implementation of best practices for security, monitoring, scalability, and cost control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attendees learned how a modern cloud infrastructure can support critical workloads with security, scalability, and reliability. The impact of cloud migration on the pharmaceutical sector was also highlighted, with a focus on innovation and business continuity (Disaster Recovery).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, AWS experts showcased the potential of <strong>Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)<\/strong>, leveraging advanced machine learning technologies. They demonstrated how to automate critical data extraction, boost team productivity, enhance compliance and auditing, and easily scale document processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This event highlighted tangible results and lessons learned, including the <strong>migration of over 50 applications with zero downtime<\/strong>.
