Devoteam has released its 2024 Sustainability Report, demonstrating its commitment to using responsible technology to build a better future. Our “Tech for People” vision drives our work. We focus on ethical, environmental, and social responsibility in everything we do.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Sustainability Policy: VEEP<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our Sustainability Policy has four interconnected dimensions: Value, Environment, Ethics, and People<\/strong>. Our main goals are to develop technology that creates positive change, help reduce global greenhouse gas emissions to fight climate change, and involve everyone in our sustainable digital journey.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re proud to have received the Ecovadis Platinum<\/a> label for our sustainability performance for the second year in a row. This top rating recognises the results of our sustainable business practices and places us in the top 1% of companies in the EcoVadis network.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What We’re Doing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Value<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We support our clients’ sustainable digital transformations by reshaping our offers and certifying our people. We’ve certified 3,600 people in sustainable IT and aim to certify 70% of Devoteamers by 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We drive sustainable impact for our clients, as illustrated by diverse customer cases featured in our latest sustainability report. For example, we leverage our data capabilities and AI to improve ESG and GHG reporting, use AI and cloud technologies to support Biodiversity research and predict future changes, or secure the systems and data of our clients and their end-users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our fourth edition of Devoteam <\/a>TechRadar<\/a> helps companies navigate the fast-changing tech world by screening 150 emerging technologies. To increase our societal impact, we’ve also supported over 100 non-profits with skills and donations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Environment<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our science-based emissions targets, aligned with the Paris Agreement\u2019s 1.5\u00b0C goal, were approved by SBTi in 2024<\/a>. Since our 2022 base year, we’ve reduced carbon emissions by 22%.
The CDP\u2014Carbon Disclosure Project<\/a> recognised our carbon management strategy with a B Score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Ethics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To better involve everyone in our sustainability efforts, we\u2019ve strengthened how we communicate our principles and our Whistleblowing System. We’re reinforcing our due diligence strategy to ensure the sustainable improvement of our value chain. We continue securing our clients and our own systems while protecting personal data, including with the development of AI and potential ethical biases. Our 906\/1000 Cybervadis score demonstrates our maturity level in this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. People <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We’re helping our 10,000 employees from 120 countries learn and make an impact with new technologies, especially GenAI and sustainable IT. To offer them upskill opportunities, we have attributed a Udemy licence to all Devoteamers, which resulted in a large increase in people getting training over the year. We use Devomood, our engagement and satisfaction survey, to help improve how we work and grow and support our promise to provide “infinite possibilities to become a digital leader.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We follow the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the United Nations Global Compact, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to show our dedication to sustainability. NB: <\/strong>The EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), effective for the 2024 financial year, requires companies to standardise and improve their sustainability reporting. We’ve been working to enhance our reporting practices, resulting in more structured and comprehensive disclosures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This report outlines the key sustainability issues we’ve identified in pursuing our double materiality assessment in 2024. It provides our stakeholders with transparent, comparable, and reliable information about our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Devoteam is part of the CSRD second wave, so this report, while built with the CSRD requirement structure, is not fully aligned with the regulation yet. The approach is based on the CSRD, the GRI protocol, and the criteria established using the UN Global Compact as guiding tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
