la High Performance Computing?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>High Performance Computing, o HPC<\/strong>&nbsp;se podr\u00eda definir como&nbsp;<strong>la agregaci\u00f3n de potencia de computaci\u00f3n proveniente de m\u00faltiples ordenadores\/servidores<\/strong>&nbsp;y su utilizaci\u00f3n en problemas computacionales de grandes dimensiones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Estos problemas pueden ser demasiado pesados para los t\u00edpicos equipos de trabajo que tardar\u00edan demasiado tiempo por lo que ser\u00eda inviable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Este enfoque permite adem\u00e1s aumentar la precisi\u00f3n de resultados ya que la potencia de computaci\u00f3n disponible es m\u00e1s elevada.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2\" style=\"color:#f8485e\"><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo funciona la High Performance Computing?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La arquitectura y funcionamiento de un cluster HPC puede ser un tema bastante complejo, pero para simplificarlo se puede dividir en 4 \u00e1reas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Esqueleto<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Estos son los componentes base:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Login node<\/strong>: componente responsable de manejar el login de los usuarios en el cluster, as\u00ed como manejar remote desktops.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Master node<\/strong>: componente responsable de orquestar los recursos del cluster, tambi\u00e9n llamado scheduler.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Computaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es el componente responsable de realizar los trabajos de los usuarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Almacenamiento<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es el componente responsable de la persistencia de datos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>NFS<\/strong>: utilizado para almacenar resultados y datos de los usuarios.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Parallel File System<\/strong>: utilizado por los compute nodes durante los c\u00e1lculos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Networking<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Componente responsable de la comunicaci\u00f3n entre componentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Todo el sistema<\/strong>: conectado por Gigabit Ethernet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Compute nodes y Parallel File System<\/strong>: conectado por RDMA de alta velocidad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" realizar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Login en el sistema<\/strong>&nbsp;y preparaci\u00f3n del trabajo a realizar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Env\u00edo del trabajo al scheduler<\/strong>: solicitando los recursos necesarios como el n\u00famero de cores.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>An\u00e1lisis o bajada de los resultados.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3\" style=\"color:#f8485e\"><strong>Casos de uso y estado del arte en la High Performance Computing (HPC)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Actualmente la utilizaci\u00f3n de sistemas HPC est\u00e1 en crecimiento<\/strong>&nbsp;ya que en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os los casos de uso e industrias que pueden obtener beneficios con su utilizaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n aumentando.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esto se debe, en parte, a la capacidad de los sistemas y la industrias ahora mismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El tipo de sistema utilizado, a nivel de tama\u00f1o y complexidad, es muy flexible lo que&nbsp;<strong>permite a peque\u00f1as y grandes empresas aprovechar y ganar con la utilizaci\u00f3n del HPC<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>La tendencia parece ser el aumento de la utilizaci\u00f3n de estos
