The Challenge<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Majoo sought Devoteam’s expertise to help them on cloud spend optimisation through application modernisation. Devoteam used existing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)<\/a>: BigQuery (data analysis) and Google Compute Engine N2 powered by 3rd Gen Intel\u00ae Xeon\u00ae Scalable Processors (Ice Lake). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This partnership helps Majoo\u00a0enhance its services\u00a0and\u00a0meet the growing needs\u00a0of its growing business.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Devoteam guided them through the implementation process. Majoo demonstrated a proactive approach to overcoming their business challenges and embracing digital transformation<\/strong>. Through this collaboration, Majoo gets\u00a0access to cutting-edge technology<\/strong>\u00a0and<\/span> leverages Devoteam’s<\/strong> wealth of experience<\/strong> in cloud services<\/a> and application modernisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Solution<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Leveraging it<\/span>s expertise in application modernisation, data analytics, and AI\/ML, Devoteam offers a solution that includes\u00a0implementing various Google Cloud Platform (GCP)<\/strong>\u00a0products, such as Anthos<\/strong>, Cloud Run<\/strong>, BigQuery<\/strong>, and Vertex AI<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By using a cloud-first architecture for the Majoo solution, the aim is to strengthen Majoo’s cloud footprint and expand its portfolio with advanced technologies available on GCP. By designing and implementing Majoo Group’s enterprise architecture<\/strong>, analysing existing architectural gaps<\/strong>, implementing the Cloud Native Application Framework<\/strong>, and providing guidance on Google Marketplace Onboarding<\/strong>, Devoteam is committed to driving innovation and efficiency in Majoo’s operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Devoteam’s involvement includes creating migration plans for specific services<\/strong>, conducting proof-of-concept activities<\/strong> for new technologies on GCP, and offering consulting on the migration process<\/strong>. By working closely with Majoo’s engineering team and aligning with their business and technical needs, Devoteam ensured a smooth transition to a modern cloud environment that improved scalability, security, and performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project ran for <\/strong>three month<\/strong><\/span>s<\/strong>. It migrated applications and services to GCP, including core monolith applications such as Mayang and Accounting<\/strong>, Santan<\/strong>, Cockpit<\/strong>, and COGS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Devoteam succeeded in increasing the reliability of the Majoo application in the Majoo POS (point of sale) section. The application (Majoo Platform) can also handle transactions from all kinds of tenants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\t
