Met mijn non technische achtergrond zag ik deze track als de perfecte kans om een overstap te maken naar de IT. Het samenspel tussen business en IT heeft mij tijdens mijn studie (Digital Business (MScBA), UvA) al enorm geboeid. Met DevOps sla je deze brug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als DevOps consultant houd je je bezig met (het verbeteren van) IT processen en systemen. In de brede zin; hoe zetten we de techniek in om organisaties te verbeteren. Mijn interesse hiervoor is sinds mijn start alleen maar meer geworden!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wat is de prestatie bij Devoteam waar je het meest trots op bent? <\/strong><br>In de COVID periode kan het (vooral als starter) lastig zijn om goede aansluiting te vinden binnen een organisatie. Na een maand op kantoor te hebben gezeten, heb ik de rest van het traineeship thuis moeten afronden. Aan het thuiswerken kon ik nog vrij snel wennen. Waar de uitdaging in zit is het leren kennen van je collega&#8217;s. Inmiddels werk ik al bijna een jaar bij Devoteam en heb, zoals de meesten, voornamelijk vanuit huis gewerkt. Ik ben daarom ook trots op mijn collega&#8217;s, dat we ondanks de afstand en veel nieuwkomers, er als een hecht team uit zijn gekomen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wat is de belangrijkste skill die je nodig hebt voor jouw functie? <\/strong><br>Als zich een probleem voordoet in het IT proces of systeem kan dit grote uitwerkingen hebben op het werk van anderen. In een dergelijke situatie is het belangrijk dat je snel kunt overschakelen om de impact op te vangen. Ook is het is erg belangrijk om certificaten te behalen en op de hoogte te blijven van de nieuwste ontwikkelingen. Je zult dus ook moeten schakelen tussen werk en &#8216;studie&#8217;, een skill dus die goed van pas komt als DevOps&#8217;er.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Als jij opnieuw zou moeten kiezen en je zou niet de IT in mogen qua werk, wat zou je dan doen? <\/strong><br>Met mijn Zwitserse roots heb ik altijd al een grote liefde voor de bergen gehad. In de winter ben ik daarom ook een fanatieke snowboarder en in de zomer hang ik aan de touwen in een mooie klimroute. Als ik een ander carri\u00e8repad had bewandeld, was deze waarschijnlijk in de bergen geweest. Een baan als kliminstructrice zou ik mij goed kunnen voorstellen \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-left has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-jo-lle-is-devops-consultant-binnen-het-i-tech-team\" style=\"color:#f8485e\">Jo\u00eblle is DevOps Consultant binnen het I-Tech team <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het I-Tech team bij Devoteam Nederland bestaat uit een team van zo\u2019n 50 specialisten die met name gefocust zijn op de technologie\u00ebn Elastic, Red Hat, Atlassian &amp; Java. Werken in I-Tech betekent dat je in aanraking komt met verschillende topics, van Monitoring en DevOps tot Software Engineering en Cloud.
