De uitdaging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Risk Intelligence is wereldleider op het gebied van risicobeoordeling en -planning, gespecialiseerd in dreigingsanalyse op zee, in de haven en aan land met een wereldwijd waarschuwingssysteem voor risico’s en een 24-uurs bewakingsteam Risk Intelligence heeft zijn hoofdkantoor in Denemarken en is actief in zeven landen. Het bedrijf biedt zijn informatie aan via een digitaal platform, het Risk Intelligence System (MaRisk, PortRisk en LandRisk), dat een uitgebreid totaalbeeld geeft van de realtime milieurisico’s voor zee-, haven- en landgebieden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Risk Intelligence heeft een aantal SaaS-oplossingen ingezet, zoals Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, AdminControl en Computershare. Het bedrijf hield een grote hoeveelheid ‘restdata’ bij – over soorten bedreigingen, conflicten, projecten van klanten, historische bedrijfsdata, geografische gebieden en nog veel meer. Deze informatie is van cruciaal belang voor analisten bij het ontwikkelen van risicobeoordelingen. Veel van hun informatie werd opgeslagen in een Atlassian Confluence-oplossing – waarin informatie moeilijker vindbaar was geworden, en instabiliteit ook een probleem vormde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bovendien verwerkt en analyseert het bedrijf dagelijks enorme hoeveelheden full-text data uit verschillende bronnen. Daarbij zijn hoogwaardige analyse en time-to-market van essentieel belang om de beste leverancier te blijven van relevante en tijdige risicoanalyses voor klanten in het Risk Intelligence System.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De oplossing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

De oplossing voor de transformatie vond plaats in twee fasen. Eerst modernisering van de structuur van en toegang tot \u2018restdata\u2019 door middel van een nieuw metadata-model en migratie van data van Confluence naar M-bestanden om de datasilo\u2019s op te breken, en data zo te structureren dat ze effici\u00ebnt kunnen worden gedeeld en opgevraagd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nadat we de basiskennis voor de analisten van de klant hadden gegarandeerd, zijn we gaan brainstormen om tot nieuwe idee\u00ebn te komen voor optimalisatie en innovatie. De idee\u00ebn werden onderdeel van een reeks producten, die allemaal gericht waren op het optimaliseren en innoveren van Risk Intelligence door middel van nieuwe technische oplossingen zoals AI, machine learning, RPA enz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In het eerste product werden de processen voor het verwerken van data in een AI-gestuurde datastroom aanzienlijk geoptimaliseerd, waardoor de analisten meer, sneller en hoogwaardiger informatie konden verwerken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\t

The handling of new data scaled from two part-time workers processing 55 cases a month to one part-time employee processing about 700 cases a month<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Risk Intelligence now has a backlog of data and digitalization tasks, a way to prioritize and execute projects, that allows them to recurringly develop towards becoming more and more data driven.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\t

It has been a top priority to find a leading IT company that will engage with Risk Intelligence for the long-term development, becoming a true partner rather than a provider. We are expecting to discuss the unknown unknowns as well as getting top level advice on strategy and changes in technology that may affect our business and the way our production cycle is optimized. The first couple of months have already proved to be fruitful.
