To support ongoing technological shifts and strengthen its innovation capabilities, Devoteam Luxembourg is structuring its expertise around a new strategic pillar: Innovative Tech.
Led by Davy Detaille, this department aims to accelerate the adoption of cloud hybridization through open-source and cloud-native technologies, as well as DevOps culture — while also shaping the next generation of tech talent.
Devoteam is a key player in Luxembourg’s digital transformation landscape. Beyond its long-standing expertise in Microsoft environments and ServiceNow solutions, the company has for several years been investing in a wide range of technologies to support its clients’ ambitions across multiple domains. As IT environments grow more complex, Devoteam is reaffirming its leadership through the creation of the Innovative Tech department.
“When I joined Devoteam seven years ago, there were only two or three of us passionate about open source. Today, we’re a team of 43 experts, capable of deploying solutions like OpenShift, leading large-scale automation projects, and embedding a true DevOps culture at our clients. This growth reflects the explosive demand in the market.”
Meeting the Needs of a Rapidly Evolving Market
With multi-cloud architectures, increased resilience requirements, DevSecOps, FinOps, and digital sovereignty now top priorities, client IT environments have radically evolved. In this context, organizations are no longer looking for simple service providers, but strategic partners who can help them navigate this ever-shifting technological landscape.

“We address these needs with an open, multi-cloud, and vendor-agnostic offering, backed by strategic partnerships with global leaders like AWS, Google, and Microsoft for cloud, and Red Hat, Elastic, and Nutanix for infrastructure,” explains Davy Detaille. “Our approach tackles critical challenges — resilience, hybrid cloud environments, observability — while ensuring clients retain full control over their digital assets.”
Beyond these global alliances, Innovative Tech also actively supports European digital sovereignty by building a catalog of alternative solutions based on technologies from European players, offering strategic options aligned with sovereignty requirements.
To support these ambitions, Devoteam is heavily investing in talent. From 23 members at the start of 2025, the team now numbers 43, with the goal of doubling the original headcount by the end of the year.
“Market demand is skyrocketing. New regulations are pushing companies toward greater resilience and sovereignty. As a result, many of our clients are rethinking their cloud architectures to reduce dependency on hyperscalers and repatriate certain workloads locally,” adds Davy Detaille.
The department also benefits from Devoteam Group’s strong presence across Europe.

In this evolving landscape, Devoteam is helping organizations build new platforms — or overhaul existing ones — to improve agility and meet the demands of DevSecOps and FinOps.

“All of our clients are struggling to hire. Most are looking for senior profiles, which creates barriers for younger talents. So, we created a local support center focused on next-gen technologies, where junior talents can get hands-on experience and build their expertise. It meets client expectations and prepares the talent of tomorrow.”
Rapid Growth Reflects Model’s Relevance
Launched earlier this year with 23 passionate team members, the Innovative Tech department now counts 43 experts — a rapid and meaningful growth that reflects the relevance of its model.
And the story is just beginning.
“We’re actively recruiting new talent, particularly leaders and experts in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (data engineers and scientists), and site reliability engineering (SRE),” says Davy Detaille.
Several events are also planned for Luxembourg’s digital community, focusing on both technical and strategic topics such as DevSecOps, FinOps, and multicloud best practices.
