What is New?

1. Improved features

For existing Agentspace customers, the core functionality remains, but it’s now part of a more powerful and feature-rich environment. New features include the global availability of Nano Banana, Google’s AI image generator and photo editor (accessible within each SKU of Gemini Enterprise). The Agent Designer module will soon feature a visual builder, Model Context Protocol (MCP) tool integration which allows users to standardise the construction and launch scheduling of agents, giving developers control over the introduction of agents. 

2. No need for a Google Workspace account

Gemini Enterprise is part of the Google Gemini ecosystem, but your organisation doesn’t need to use Workspace as its communication and collaboration tool.

3. New SKUs

With the change to Gemini Enterprise, Google has introduced new pricing and product tiers (like “Standard” and “Plus”) to cater to different business needs and scales.

Additional agent governance functionality, including an agent registry to enable or disable agents and full agentic governance capabilities, is now available. In addition, Gemini Enterprise features a marketplace where companies can discover and deploy thousands of vetted, partner-built AI agents.

5. The Workbench concept

The Workbench is one of the core components of the Gemini Enterprise platform. Think of it as what Agentspace used to be, but upgraded. Workbench is the environment where employees can bring together data stored across the enterprise, as well as create and deploy AI agents across their workflows.

6. New Taskforce concept

We can call it an “agentic agent”, which is multiple LLM agents working together to complete tasks. An example of it that Gemini users might already know is Deep Research. With Gemini Enterprise, you get access to 3 types of agentic agents: Google-built agents, your own agents built with ADK and third-party agentic agents.

• Voluntarily opt-in to Gemini Enterprise at the mid-point of your contract and benefit from programmatic discounts and obtain immediate access to the new updates.
