Netherlands, May 27, 2024 – Devoteam, the IT consultancy firm with 12,000 cloud-native experts in the EMEA region, building on strong partnerships with cloud platforms like Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, and Google, appoints Marcel Braaksma as Country Director for Microsoft activities in the Netherlands. In this role, he takes over from Freek Roelofs, who will immediately assume the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this new position, Freek will play an essential role in leading the Dutch business units.
With a proven track record, including roles as Operations Director at Macaw and Delivery Executive at Microsoft, Marcel Braaksma brings a lot of experience and expertise in Microsoft solutions. With his knowledge in driving innovation and delivering successful results for clients, Marcel will play a crucial role in helping Devoteam’s clients move towards a cloud-native future, powered by Microsoft Azure. This will be achieved with multidisciplinary teams with expertise in data & AI, cloud engineering, software development, security, and sustainability.
