The dynamic environment is a defining feature of his role, a place where constant evolution is the norm. “So far since I started, I’ve almost never done the same thing twice,” he notes.
No Two Days Alike
The work is a mix of responsibilities. Some days, Erik helps the sales team stay current with technical developments. On others, he works closely with his team, sometimes pairing with a single colleague to divide and conquer tasks.
This variety is exactly what he finds so engaging. “So it comes with some challenges,” Erik admits, “but it’s also very rewarding to always figure out something new”.
A Startup Vibe in a Global Company
The culture in the Stockholm office was a drastic shift from Erik’s previous role at a more traditional enterprise company. He describes his former corporate background as a place where “everything is very quiet. You don’t really know the people you’re sitting next to”.
The atmosphere at Devoteam was the complete opposite. “It was like, so shocking, almost… this was quite the opposite and immediately got me interested”. Even though Devoteam is a large corporation, the Stockholm office feels like a small, tight-knit community with a “start-up mentality”. This open environment is a key reason he enjoys being there.
It immediately got me interested. Honestly, it’s just fun to go to the office.
