Foundational Design

Deployed a foundational, multi-account architecture including dedicated accounts for critical functions: Audit, Networking, Shared Services, Log Archive, and Monitoring
Established clear separation of concerns across accounts, enabling better governance, security controls, and cost management
Designed a standardised template for customer account deployment that could be consistently applied for both existing and new customers

Security Enhancement

Implemented core security services across the organization including AWS SSO for identity management, CloudTrail for activity monitoring, and Config for resource tracking
Deployed advanced security services such as GuardDuty for threat detection, Security Hub for compliance monitoring, and IAM Access Analyzer for permissions management
Created centralised logging and monitoring capabilities to provide comprehensive visibility across the entire AWS environment

Automation Implementation

Developed Infrastructure as Code templates for customer account deployment, enabling repeatable, secure, and efficient provisioning of new environments
Set up a single customer account as a prototype, consisting of several EC2 instances and an RDS instance, with all resources defined as code
Established centralised AWS Backup policies for consistent resource protection across customer environments
